Any need for a tiny (4x6) font?

While looking for a tiny font for a 128x64 LCD display, I found this nifty public domain font (originally for fbcon). Here are the (as yet untested [8^) Spin files. There are two versions: the first uses 3 bytes per glyph (ASCII 32..127) for those who are seriously COG-RAM strapped but willing to work to decode the bits, while the second packs each glyph into a long for easy access.

lonesock: do you have any pictures of what this font looks like?

I'll try to whip one up tonight. Here is my validation text file output (sorry, I know it doesn't quite compare to a bitmap [8^)

This could be a 3x5 font, and as such be packed into words instead of longs.

Good point. This font basically is a 3x5, with the spacing row and column included, though on some characters it does go outside the bounds. If you're interested I'll look into it. Here's what it looks like now (you may need to squint a bit [8^)

edit: why are the attachments not showing up?
