It's in Jon's editorial - not the Advert (trouble with speedreading is I concatonate things - join things together)

You've really got our juices flowing...

I keep waiting for it to show up at home, I've been reading the articles using my online N&V subscription.

    Waiting...waiting...

    Not to speak for Jon…..

But he probably has to write and submit his articles to Nuts & Volts a month or two ahead of time, so release dates might slip a little.

My column that will talk about SX/B 2.0 will be in the November issue -- we think SX/B 2.0 should be released by then but if it slips a little, why worry -- it's still FREE! SX/B 2.0 has a lot of advanced features that have been challenging to test; as soon as Terry thinks he has a feature fully tested some crafty programmer comes along and discovers a way to break it.

Are you looking for any more testers for the new version of SX/B?

I was having a few problems logging onto and viewing the mag online. (Nuts and Volts) did anyone else have this problem?

I just downloaded the September Nuts and Volts issue with no problems.

I haven't received the mailed hard copy yet but it seems like I just got the "Pimp my Prius" last issue.

It seems like I usually read the whole thing online before getting the issue. This time I get an weird error

Yes - Parallax's strength is your robust and generally bug free software. This has raised the bar in electronic related "Free Software". In the case of SX/B, very well done Terry!yeah.gif·
    ·
But you guys at Parallax know that your software isn't FREE.shakehead.gif We pay for it in every chip we buy. We could buy substantially better chips at about ·2/3rds the price but your good software and amazing support is what keeps us tied to your product.
    ·
And this means you guys have to stay in front of the pack. I see there is some very good alternative stuff out there (The Butterfly or the PIC for example) and while I have no intention in ditching my substantial investment in learning "The Parallax Way", I can see substantial numbers of others doing so. This will be a loss of market share for you guys, yes you'll continue to sell more stuff but others will grab the lion’s share of this exciting market.
    ·
Now its out job as users and customers to encourage you guys to keep up with the pack because we don't want to have to learn some other system just to stay in the game. (Yes, your customer base is often fiercely loyal)
    ·
So we all await with eager anticipation Terry’s Two Point Oh So Amazing SX/B software. jumpin.gif
