I have a BS2 board, which I am trying to interface to a serial port via pin7. Is there an example code that shows how this may be done?

    Pin 7 is no different than any other I/O pin. Any example for any other pin will work just as well on pin 7. Look in the Parallax Basic Manual in the chapters on SERIN and SEROUT for further details and some examples.
