Hey Everyone,

Does anyone have a good source (and part numbers)·on both the male and female 2.1 mm center-positive barrel power connector that is standard on Parallax Boards and Power Supplies? Secondly, are the lengths standard or do they vary?

    Whit,

I get the male board-mounted·part from Digikey.· Their part number is·SC1313-ND.· The female parts are usually corded like on the end of a power supply cord.· I you're looking for the connector on a cord, I usually get these from MCM: http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/24-5360.· It's two for the price of one if you cut off the male end.·

From mouser - the board side connector - I use part # 16PJ031 for SpinStudio, but it looks the same as the power connector on the Protoboards

Try Mouser, being in Louisiana you'll probably get next day or 2 day delivery using regular UPS ground.
