VDIP1 and Basic Stamp

Has anyone used a Vinculum VDIP1 to store data collected by a BS2pe?

I'd like to experiment with my BS2pe as a datalogger and like the idea of storing the data on a thumb drive and reading it on a PC after a near space mission.

The VDIP1 is I think essentially the same as the "Parallax Memorystick Datalogger", or the FTDI "vDrive", and the software that you will find on the Parallax site and in many threads here on the forum should work fine. They are all based on the FTDI Vinculum USB bridge chip.

There was a long long thread in the Stamps in Class forum earlier this year specifically on a near space mission, search for "rocketeers".
