Does anyone know where I can buy small rubber bushings to mount a standard 4" case fan, to isolate vibration? Thanks

These aren't rubber bushings but they will dampen vibration from a 4" (80mm) case fan. I never bought one of these, but I have shopped at Newegg.com a lot and have found that the customer's product reviews are a pretty accurate indication of the quality of the product.

    Hope this helps,

Rubber grommets that are ordinarily used to protect wire that passes through a sheet metal chassis come in all sizes. I suspect they will do just fine.

Be advised that all rubber or neoprene mounts will wear out over a period of time. The material just ages and gets hard. It doesn't do any good to buy spare parts to keep on hand because they will age too.

Another alternative is a small 'cone shaped' spring. I've no idea if it would be as quiet in this context, but it would last indefinitely.

An alternative to just the the rubber grommets are these vibration dampener kits from CyberGuys. 120 mm shown, but links to other sizes available on the page below.
