When trying to print, I get a message "list index out of bounds (0)" message.· I am almost sure this was descussed in the past, but cannot retrieve it with the search function.· Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Chet

I had the same issue, are you using the Beta Version?· I didn't have a problem with the standard version.

I am using the bata version. I did not have it with the previous one. I downloaded the beta version because the previous version did not open the files identified for the program (the beta has the same). I have to save the file, go into the editor and load it, unlike the stamp editor where I can just go in by double clicking the file. The file loading is not a big problem, but the printing would be nice to get resolved, because copy and paste looses the nice formating.

    Chet,

If I could reproduce your problem, I'd fix it. However, i just tried printing from the Beta version and it worked without any problems. If printing works on my machine, then I don't have any way to debug the problem since, on my machine, there is no problem. Perhaps some more details of you setup might help.

Regarding the ability to double click and open a file, that's a Windows issue. Programs under Windows do not handle opening files that are double clicked by themselves. Windows sees the double click, looks to see if there is a registered file type and an associated program, and then invokes the program with the file name on the command line. This is something that is setup at the time of program installation. If it isn't, then Parallax needs to update the installer. You can set file associations yourself. Here's a pre-made Google search to let you find a page that explains it best for you:

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=windows+set+file+association&btnG=Google+Search

If your source files don't show the little SX-Key IDE logo (the crossed key and chip), then your file associations are not setup.

    Thanks,
    PeterM

    · Actually I had the same issue on 2 computers right now.· One a laptop running Windows XP, and the other a Desktop running Vista.· They are both using the same Xerox laser printer so Monday I will attempt to print from work.· I've had no issues printing from the older program.

I only have the problem on my laptop. I tried two other computers and it works fine there. One still has the 3.2.3 (lazy...) and the other is running the bata.

Thanks for the feedback anyway. Neet to get back to figuring out other fun stuff .....

    Have a good weekend.

    Regards
