Parallax doesn't offer a Gyro or the code to run one. The closest thing is the accelerometer, but I suspect that you already have one and are trying to do dead reckoning. Am I correct? Anyway, one of the few places that offers a gyro is the model/sport helicopter industry. Their gyros are meant to help steady out the flight of the models, and hence are a drop in between a servo and the radio control module. So if you want to get one, you'll have to do some testing to find out how it modifies an incomming pulse in the output based on different orientations. You'll almost certainly need an oscilloscope.

Here’s a video of what I’d like to be able to do using a Stamp and a SparkFun gyro:
I wonder if anybody has been playing with a self-balancing Stamp?
