Anybody familiar with this analyzer? Seems like a good deal.

We also still have the BASIC Stamp Logic Analyzer, which I use at least once a week for troubleshooting signals, monitoring timing of signals or even decoding SPI, I2C and Asynchronous Serial communication.

Why isn't there an analyzer for the SX-28? I could have used one over the weekend.

There is also the $99 Xilinx Spartan 3 FPGA Starter Kit. It can be turned into a logic analyser with some free software:

I just loaded up the analyzer Paul Baker made...its really nice. I modded it so it only has six inputs and double spaced them. I think Im going to build a permanent version of it. Not bad for about $30 for parts

    Computer Geek 101,
Making the pins selectable would add great value. I tried for a while but gave up. I find that code harder to read than most.

you could hack it and do it but the way its built, non sequential pins would be a real pain. sequential ones would be easy enough tho. Im planning on making a "finished project" version maybe this weekend.

Maybe someone can write a tutorial on Paul's analyzer? I'm new to prop, so that would help people like me immensely.

Also, can the Propeller protoboard with no usb on it (one for $20) be used for this?

    Thanks
    Alex
