Is there a web-based IDE for BASIC? Like meebo.com--a java or flash program.

I'm at work and I can't install software on my computer without an act of congress, but these browser applications are a great work-around.

I just copied the Stamp editor v2.3 folder from my computer where it was installed to another computer in my office and it will run, with out using setup. I'm assuming this would mean that you could copy the folder to a USB drive and run it, with out having to install anything on the local hard drive. I would bet that it does use the registry to some extent.

hope that helps, don't get fired over it!

I had recently posted a message asking if there was a portable version of the Stamp IDE. After reading your post, I guess it's not really needed.
