Radio Controlled Receiver Pulsin attemp

Good Morning all.
I've been trying to mess around abit with reading the pulses from the RC reciever going out to the servos with the Pulsin command.· Has anybody used this for this before?· I've had no luck yet, but haven't spent a lot of time so far, but I figured someone has to have done this already.
I didn't see an example in the help file for Pulsin.
Thanks,

Russ

Yes it is covered, but then seems to be skipped over in favor of interupts.

·I want to use it just to read in the position, and not control a car.·· It seems funny that this function on the sufrace seems to be ideally made for this, but it doesn't have alot of examples for this.

Well, it's really easy -- and there's an example of measuring a high-going pulse right in the help file:

    PULSIN RA.0, 1, pWidth

This will measure the pulse in 10 uS units, so you should get something on the order of 100 to 200 across the range of the servo.

Thanks, perhaps I'm missing some other part of the puzzle.· I will continue to mess around with this.· One more question, probably an easy one.· I am using the SX board on a 9V battery.· The receiver has it's own battery.· Do I need to tie the grounds together?

    Thanks again.
