Oscilloscope (Solved)

Hi. I am just testing my new oscilloscope, and had some trouble. When I hooked up the line one like it says in the book, and run the code, I just get a squigly line, nothing useful (see the blue line in the attached image). I thought my circuit and or code was wrong, at first, but then I decided to hook up probe two and use it's settings. What do you know: it shows the correct square waves and everything. I am completely lost for a solution.

did you try reseating the probes and possbily swapping with another one (e.g. red/green)

Make sure your gound is common, too.

Alright. I feel dumb now, but the case was reversed and the box was buried in my desk, so I didn't see the labels. I only noticed that I was trying to read from the trigger channel when I looked inside the case.
