Hot under the collar - overclocking the SX?
![CounterRotatingProps](https://forums.parallax.com/uploads/userpics/360/nWQG6ZTFJSJXM.png)
There's a 75 mHz oscillator package·available here (part# 252-00005)... and there used to be a 100 mHz version of the SX48 (or 52?)
This got me wondering.
Has anyone tried to overclock
these devices with some crazy heat sinks... you know pelter's, water cooled, etc. ?
Sure this is nuts ... but then again...![jumpin.gif](http://forums.parallax.com/images/smilies/jumpin.gif)

Peter (pjv) says he's run them to 115MHz in this thread:

I also remember reading of Ubicom overclocking them with ridiculously large heat sinks as a demonstration, but I can't seem to find information or references to that.

COOL ! As inexpensive as the SX's are, it's tempting to toast a few to find out.
Interesting...wonder if it's any coincidence that Tony's Avatar picture (see link above) is an eclipse of the SUN ?
Sun's surface temp is 10_000 degrees F.· ... now where's that big heat sink at?
thanks
