Hi Everyone,

Can somebody suggest a wireless solution for USART communication between a microcontroller and PC? I tried using the XBEE, but its too much of a hassle to get 5V/3.3V conversion. Is there a radio that works on 5V??

Thanks,
Aaqil

The EB500 Bluetooth adapter is designed for use with a 5V supply and 5V logic levels and provides a full duplex serial link.

Selmaware (www.selmaware.com) used to sell an xBee adapter also for use with a Stamp, complete with a voltage regulator and a level translator. They don't sell assembled or kit versions anymore, but may have some printed circuit boards for sale. The schematic should be on their website if you're willing to duplicate it yourself.
