Hi

Back again with a beginners question.

What is the best external Xtal for the propeller when wanting tu use serial communication?? Is the resonator (4/20/50 Mhz for the sx usable?)

    Why don't you want to use the usual 5 MHz crystal?

    I'd just use the standard 5.00MHz xtal. Not sure about the resonator (someone else will answer this for you).

    Have you just considered the protoboard? (The newer one with the USB onboard). See the parallax online shop - they sent mine (older version) in a week to Australia but the shipping was more that the board costs.
