Stamp II to slowly dim a light (120 VAC)

Anyone has experience with code and devices to use a Stamp II to slowly dim a light (120 VAC)?.·
Perhaps the 5 Volt output to run some type of SSR (solid state relay) or triac, but what's the best way to slowly ramp up the signal to slowly ramp up the 120 vac light --- zero to full on in 4-5 seconds is my goal.
