I couldn't find any RSS feed for the forums, so I made my own. Feel free to use them if you'd like.

Feeds;

SX;
www.nicholasm.com/proprss/index.php?forumid=sx

Propeller;
www.nicholasm.com/proprss/index.php?forumid=propeller

Basic Stamp;
www.nicholasm.com/proprss/index.php?forumid=basicstamp

Stamps in Class;
www.nicholasm.com/proprss/index.php?forumid=stampsinclass

Javelin;
www.nicholasm.com/proprss/index.php?forumid=javelin

Robotics;
www.nicholasm.com/proprss/index.php?forumid=robotics

Hydra;
www.nicholasm.com/proprss/index.php?forumid=hydra

Technical Details;
Php uses xslt to parse it into RSS and caches it. it refreshes the cache every 10 minutes. The rss feeds are pretty information light (no summary, no date), but work just fine for firefox bookmarks.

    Very Cool.· Thanks very much.· I prefer RSS to having to visit the website all the time.

    I have a suggestion and a question.· If possible, please add the forum title to the rss fead, so the rss reader can label the bookmark accordingly without manually editing it.· For example, the title of the feed might be Parallax Forums - Propeller, rather than just Parallax Forums.

    Also, is it possible for the rest of us to create rss feeds on demand from a website URL.· That would be very handy to know how to do.

    Good suggestion on the feed title. I also wanted to put the post in the summary section of the feed, but that's pretty complicated.

    Unfortunately, the XML is generated using Xpath and PHP. Because every website has a different presentation, the xpath has to be customized. If you want, I can send you the PHP as a template for other websites you'd like to setup.

    6 years late into this... New to Propellers and love them. :innocent:
    I'm trying to add the Propeller 1 feed to my personal RSS feeds page, I get the basic list, but the links don't work as the address is short the topic ID. For example each link is this: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php?t=
    But really need to be like: http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php/155539-Text-Editor-on-Propeller
    I do get the description and short summary. Have there been any changes since the original posted links above?

    Hi. Welcome to propeller land.

    I'm afraid Nick stopped posting here a few years ago. His servers may have not been updated.
