Monitoring serial traffic at 115kbps

Would it be possible for a SX48 (running at 50Mhz) to monitorize a serial traffic at 115kbps ?
By monitorization I mean:
- Automatically detect baudrate
- Be able to read, and interpret simple·incoming and outgoing traffic in real time (without disturbing the traffic)
- At the same time the SX28 would be performing some minor tasks like monitoring a couple of digital inputs, but it would be mainly dedicated to the serial monitoring task.
