Qt60248 and stamp help needed

Hello everyone
i'm attempting to use a qt chip as an input device with basic stamp. I'm just starting to program micro controllers, and i'm not sure if its possible without using any additional hardware. The 24 key conductive chip has a spi slave interface.
My question is if its possible to directly conect it to stapm and if it is what comand do i need to use.

Usually shiftin and shiftout will do what you need.

There are a variety of SPI chips that are used with Stamps. Parallax has all sorts of examples of their use.
