Hi,

···· I am not too good with electronics and even worse at math, so why I am I messing with ROBOTICS ?
Anyways I have parallax compass module and code that gives me a number from 0 - 359 and I would like to plot this but would need the X Y coordinates. Can anyone help me out? I have a picture of a globe and wish to plot location.

Ken

The X and Y coordinates only give you the point on a "standard circle". They do not give you a location, but only a means to determine the direction the compass is pointing. Its no different than holding a standard magnetic compass. It can only show you which way is North and what direction you are pointing in.
