I've posted a new object in the obex for reading (measuring?) servo pulses from an R/C receiver. I welcome suggestions for improvement or even just let me know if it works for you.

I recieved my propeller starter kit on Friday - and am about 1/2 way through the training materials.

I have a quick question - is it possible (meaning is the timing accurate enough) to measure time of filight of a laser beam pulse to use the propeller for a laser range finder?

my thought - COG 0 would enage the counter and drive pulses to the laser diode. COG 1 would watch the reciever and stop the clock- do a quick calculation to calculate flight time....

Basically this looks like an edge detection of the incoming pulse ...

(sorry - I'm not too comfortable with the timing yet)

Kritz, you should start another thread. Look up the speed of light and work out a typical time of flight, might give your answer anyway.
