Ok,
··· No mistakes this time. I have not connected anything yet. Is there anything special I need to know about these units I got from Parallax before I connect them. I really cannot afford any more mistakes at this time.

Thanks,
·· Ken

Could someone please tell me can I make the connections on this unit directly to the pins on the homework board or do I need some resistiors protection?

The manual (www.parallax.com/Portals/0/Downloads/docs/prod/rf/27985manual.pdf), although brief, has explicit instructions on connecting the unit to a Stamp. Although the manual doesn't mention it, I'd recommend using a 220 Ohm resistor in series with the Stamp I/O pin that you use. If you have a HomeWork board, the resistors are already built in.
