Rf Tranceivers?

Is there a forum for Rf Tranceivers?
I Have the 27985 Tranceiver Module. The supply voltage is specified at 3-5 VDC.
Does the range of the module increase using 5V vs 3V?
I would like to use the 3V but want maximum range.
I looked on the RFDIGIAL website and could not find the base module 21131 using their search.
