Using BS2 and Homework board, is it possible to store data on a thumb drive?
I know that I can use a BS2 to collect certain data and store it on EEPROM from a remote source.· I wonder if the BS2 be used to program one of those USB thumb drives to store the data on·such a storage device?
My circuitry: Basic Stamp homework board with Embedded Basic stamp 2, powered by 9v battery. It has a serial port connector, a header for connecting i/o pins to embedded breadboard, with volt regulator and some EEPROM.

The Stamp isn't fast enough nor does it have enough memory to talk directly to a USB device.· Depending on how much data you need to store, you can add external EEPROM, such as this one:

Note:· You can't use an external EEPROM to increase the Stamp's program memory.· It won't work.
