Problems with PLX-DAQ and Open Office spreadsheets?

I was wondering if anyone has had problems with Open office not running the macros? I can't get the adjustment screen to show, so its not working for me.

I'm having (had) the same problem, and posted a similar question several days ago, with zero replies.· I monkeyed with the problem for quite a while, now I'm having problems with OPEN OFFICE spreadsheet.· But, I did send a message, asking about PLX-DAT and spreasheets other than Excel, to Parallax Tech support and got this reply:

··········· That program was written for was for Excel; I have not tried to use it with any other Office products though. It uses standard serial communication to the PC; so I would imagine it’s possible, but again not tested.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I guess that isn't a problem since I can get a copy of MS office 07 for $20 through my work, I just am trying to use this new laptop for school and thought that since open office is free and it should support MS excel's functions that someone knew what·stupid thing I was doing. I looked through all the settings and couldn't find anything that would make it not work.
