SparkFun White on Black LCD (Parallel)

does anyone have any experience interfacing to this LCD Display?

i want to use an sx28.· I am assuming because it uses the HD44780 command set that i should be able to use the example in the sx help file.· Do these type of LCD's typically all pin out the same?
