Hi.

Only to know if may I use a Basic Stamp to read
a PH meter and if you sell the PH-meter.

I you don't sell, please , could you
tell if it is difficult to do make the routine to do that and if you
know an easy interfaz for a PH meter.

Thanks, Mark.

Parallax does not sell a pH meter. How difficult interfacing may be depends on what pH meter you'd want to use. It is possible, if you're experienced enough in low level analog electronics, to build or buy the necessary instrumentation amplifier for use with a pH probe and then add an analog to digital converter to the Stamp to read a voltage in the range of 0-5V or something similar. See the Basic Analog and Digital tutorial here www.parallax.com/tabid/535/Default.aspx. Here's an example of an instrumentation amplifier for use with a pH probe. This puts out a voltage suitable for processing by a Stamp with an analog to digital converter:damien.douxchamps.net/elec/ph_meter/.

    Vernier makes a Ph sensor

    http://www.vernier.com/probes/ph-bta.html

    and an analog protoboard connector

    http://www.vernier.com/accessories/access.html?bta-elv&btd-elv&template=basic.html

which can be used to interface Vernier sensors to Basic Stamps. I haven't used the Ph sensor that way, but I've connected a couple of the other Vernier sensors to the ADC inputs of a BS2pe, and it works just fine. Notice that some of the Vernier sensors·have analog connections (BTA) and others digital (BTD). I believe that the Ph sensor will work properly with the BTA connector, but again, I haven't tried it.
