Hey Parallax:

What did you guys change over there?!?

I ordered a couple servos from Parallax on Wednesday,
and they arrived here in Ohio on Saturday.

Your times shipping were reasonable before, (I chose UPS last time, USPS this time)
but now it's gone to LIGHTNING FAST! Nicely done!

Problem, didn't have enough time to come up with a valid excuse
for the spouse on why I needed more stuff for my hobby. <SMIRK>

I always use USPS for shipping. Most times it's cheaper than UPS or FEDex, and Priority mail will usually get from coast to coast in 3 days tops, whereas UPS ground will take 5 days.

Mouser seems to give me a hard time everytime I tell them to use USPS(only on phone-in orders, computers do what they are told without arguing (most of the time at least)) but I insist and they'll do it. I tried their suggestion of DHL once, and it took 5 days from Texas to NY vs 2 days with USPS.

    just my 2 cents....

OBC, We actually purchased a fleet of 747's so we could control delivery! LOL, Just kidding obviously!

Actually the one real advantage to using USPS is the fact they will deliver your order as soon as it reaches it's destination. UPS and Fedx shipments arrive in your area typically in the same amount of time but they will hold your package at the local facility until the specified scheduled delivery date. It's just different processes by the carriers and a personal choice on your part. If your in one of those locations USPS can be an advantage. Some locations are not. Glad you were satisfied. Maybe we can build a website page with pre-designed excuses for you to choose from when breaking the news to the spouse! Thanks again for being our customer.
