XBee ZigBee/Mesh RF modules

Hi,

··· I want to communicate bewteen BS2 on my robot and my computer. I believe I have seen some posts here that talked about XBee ZigBee/Mesh RF modules. My questions are have anyone used this, is it easy to use and easy to program in PBASIC?

I've used xBee, but only the version 1 modules. The Mesh version 2 modules are supposed to be similar.

These devices look like a serial port to the Stamp and are easily programmed.

Yep... thanks to Mike Green's inspiration, I went ahead and got me some... you may want to also consider Selmaware's breakout board kits (http://www.selmaware.com/appbee/home.htm) and SparkFun's breakout boards and kits (http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/categories.php?c=111)
