abrieveation of rf

i have a robot and i want manuel controll it using a keyfob, the parallax reciever and a bs2. i know link tech. makes the keyfob and the reciever. when going to there website they use a lot of abreveations for there recievers. what abreviation do they use for the reciever that parallax sells.also what type of decoder do you recomend i use.and if you could tell me if there is a website that tells me how to connect all of the parts .plus where i could and learn how to program this to work
