HTTP & DNS Client

I'm aware of the TCP/IP stack that has been put together, as well as the IRC client.· I'm looking for a object that provides HTTP and DNS functions.· It's needed to download configuration and upload sensor data.· If anyone has any ideas or samples, please let me know...

Thanks,

Scott

I'm not sure abut DNS, but HTTP is just a text-based protocol that rides atop TCP/IP, so it should be simple to implement. Have a look at HTTP: The Definitive Guide.

AFAIK, The current TCP/IP package from harrison will support basic http functions
simply by calling it from port 80. DNS is not implemented *yet* and in spite of
our prodding him to take a simpler route with a pseudo DNS script, I think he's
working on it. I suspect he'll poke his head into this thread sooner or later. :)
