My costume is basicly finished, and uses a basic stamp 2 OEM, and PSC usb in it. and wondering if I should put in the application to the customer applications page. I just need to write up and take pictures, plus make the schematic.

I think you should go for it. At the least, you can post it here for all of us to see in the Completed Projects section. It will also give you a record of what you did while it is still fresh in your mind.

what formats can you guys read? So I save things in the right formats.. And I'm not sure I know how to make the schematic for this.

Everybody can download an attached pdf. If you don't have the ability to do this, there are some good free pdf programs out there. I use CutePDF. It is listed as a "printer." You print to it and it saves to file a pdf.

I also have a free schematic drawing tool called TinyCAD. It works pretty well and then you would have access to that for other projects.

You should be able to find both of these with a Google search.

    Good luck and have fun.

thanks whit, that helps, got the write up done, need to finish making the schema, then I need to take the pictures. I have video of the costume in action at a local renfaire as well, I don't know if they want that too.. do I zip everything up then attach that to the application? or send stuff seperately?

I would post each part. Folks can see the images or code links below your post and look at what they want. You can also "print" your TinyCAD schematic as a pdf too. That makes everything accesible to anyone with a pdf reader.

Can't wait to see the project. My son will love it, I'm sure!

almost done, got the code cleaned up, made the 2 pdf's and just took the pictures. getting ready to convert the filenames to explain what the shots are, and then make a gallery out of em to save uploading em to parallax :) so they dun have 38 megs in thier mailbox :)

I'm gonna post stuff here before I submit so someone can check it to see if anything needs to be corrected/added

I haven't studied it in detail, but it looks good to me. Your schematic came out well too!

one more quick question, do they reply to let you know that they got it, and how long does it usually take, just curious. :)
