SX Controller Board Discontinued by Parallax

I was informed by e-mail today that Parallax has discontinued the SX Controller Board.

Wasn't it a relatively new product?

I am surprised that Parallax discontinued what I thought was a new product. Do you know why?

My SX Controller Board blinks an LED . . . so, I guess everything is fine. [noparse]:)[/noparse]

The problem I have with the board is that the LED for power switch position 2 does not work because of a manufacturing defect which caused the resistor inline with the LED to not be connected. I believe you have seen the picture. I do not know if this is indicative of a bad batch of boards that suffer other problems, or not.
