Shifting to an outside mail server requires you to somehow and somewhere be logged in. Depending both on your existing LAN and ISP service, there are a lot of different senarios. Do you first require a PPPoE login or not?
The Netburner isn't a Parallax product, so you aren't going to get specific help with it here.

Open a command prompt on the computer and type in the following:
NSLOOKUP.
Once the program is running and you see the ">" prompt, type in:
set type=mx
smtp.gmail.com
The final screen will look something like the following, depending on the routers and firewalls between you and the DNS server:
C:\WINDOWS>nslookup
DNS request timed out.
··· timeout was 2 seconds.
*** Can't find server name for address 192.168.1.1: Timed out

Non-authoritative answer:
smtp.gmail.com· internet address = 72.14.205.109

If you don't get back the address of gmail, it may vary from the one above due to multiple servers servicing gmail, then your problem is the DNS entry in the PINK. You will need to get with whoever manages your network to get a valid DNS.
I am working on getting the webpages to be seen from outside using port forwarding, but no sucess yet.
