Last week I purchased a Motor mount and wheel kit which a want to use one a R/C robot. My question is do I have to purchase a HB-25 motor controller in order to use the position controller (29319)·or could I use any R/C speed controller·and are there any sample programs using the BS-2 available. The HB-25 will give you both Forward and Reverse as well as speed control for your motor. If your RC Speed Controller has that ability and you know the connections then you could use it. The HB-25 is simple to use and there is alot of sample code for using it. I hope that helps.

    Hank,

The output from the wheel encoder kit is a standard R/C servo-compatible pulse. If you have a different motor controller that can accept that type of signal it may very well work. Take care.
