USB O'scope does not lock the waveform

When using simple circuit in "Understanding Signals," I can not get the waveform to lock (waveform consistency scrolls).· Any ideas?

Hello,

Please verify that the Trigger Source is set to the channel you’re using. Also be sure the Trigger Mode is set to Normal and not Auto. Finally, check your Trigger Edge setting. I hope this helps. Take care.
