OT - VGA to Oscilloscope Display

Seems video topics are pretty common for the Propeller.·· I've seen this before, but ran across it again today doing some reserach for another project...

This probably only works for folks with 'old school' crt scopes.· I'll probably get a digital scope one day, but I'll always have an analog one.

Another thing you can try is to use vector graphics (like the asteroids game).

Actually vector is really easy.· I've done a couple of vector scope projects, like scope clocks.· I actually hunted down an old·small 3" scope from the 50's as a monitor.· All you need is a pair of dac's.·· My projects were pre-Propeller, using ISR's to output the vector data.· The Prop's cog design would probably work very well in that application.

Actually, there's been a vector MAME port for a while now, and one company even makes a dedicated board.· One day I'll get around to building my own.
