SX Tool Beta Bug???

Guys,·
I downloaded the 3.2.92h BETA SX Tool.· I came upon a problem that i did not have with·the previous version.· I opened some code and tried to print it to my printer.· I get an error· (List Index out of bounds (0)) and then my print preview window opens and the page is blank.· Has anyone else seen this issue happen yet or· am i unique?· tongue.gif

    I just tried printing and it worked perfectly. Not sure how to fix a bug that doesn't happen on my system. I'll keep trying to see if this bug happens for me.

    Hello Peter,

    Is the only difference in the new version the updates for the new USB SX-Key? I haven't tried the new BETA yet but I hope to try it this weekend.

    One thing that mey help is for those whi have run into the printer issue can post a few details on their system like:

    - OS Version: Windows XP home, XP Pro, Vista, etc
    - Major Service pack #: SP1, SP2, etc
    - What model printer: HP Inkjet, LaserJet, etc
    - Printer connection: USB, Parallel, Network printer, or the funky USB multifunction printers that show up as a DOT4 device
    - Any particular A/V software installed.

    At least with answers to those it may show some trends and highlight particular configurations where the issue does occur. Once that is identified it will be much easier to fix.

    The changes to the new IDE are mostly small things, as well as support for USB SX-Keys. Here is a list of the changes:
    3.2.3 - Fixed printing bug

    3.2.4 BETA - New COM port enumeration code
    3.2.5 BETA - Fixed bug that crashed IDE when programming via command line with GUI hidden
    3.2.6 BETA - Fixed bug that didn't close IDE when COM error occurred during command line execution
    Fixed bug where IRC didn't display. It now displays only when "Program" is invoked, not "Debug"
    3.2.7 BETA - Sent this version to Parallax for release as BETA. Allows SXC testers to use the CCS compiler correctly.
    3.2.8 BETA - Started work on modifications to work with USB SX-Key prototype A - Rev 2
    3.2.9 BETA - Got new initialization protocol for USB SX-Keys working.
    3.2.91 BETA - Fixed bug calc'ing clock value to send to USB SX-Keys.
    3.2.92 BETA - Made URL in "About" form turn blue when moused over to indicate active link.
    Updated copyright date to 2007.
    Put SX/B as first option in "Help" menu

    3.2.92c BETA - Added support for changing the font used in the editor.
    3.2.92d BETA - Updated copyright text
    3.2.92f BETA - Modified for handling USB SX-Key using new protocol for clock speed.
    3.2.92h BETA - Modified to work with both serial and USB SX-Keys.
