Graphic overlay question
For a project I am working on I want to replace some anodized aluminum touch panels (capacitive) with a new and cheaper graphic overlay on top of PCBs, where the sensor is a large pad on the PCB.
In the photo, a stove manufacturer has used some material and there are touch sensors underneath the surface.
Does anyone know what this material is?
I wrote the company but have no answer yet, they are in Europe.
Many companies n the web make face plates and overlays but they all look rather cheap compared to this look.
If you have any ideas on what it is please let me know.

It's definitely QProx technology.

What I am trying to find out is the stove material itself (black glass like material) which is not something Quantum makes, I took the photo from Qprox/Quantums site as it is a featured design application. I need the material used on the stove.
I wrote Qprox to see if they knew what the stove manufacturer used, but have gotten no response.
I am hoping to find a material that is laser workable, last resort machinable.
