Hi all
I read in a previous thread that PAL TV often have problems displaying colours. As a matter of fact one of my TV works well, the othher (sony Trinitron) shouws all Black and White...
Tried to change _xinfreq, tried some values, no way.
I read that one should set the Propeller to output to PAL, does anybody know how to do it?
Thanks!

What you are probably running is NTSC mode and one of your TV's just happens to be able to display it correctly.
It depends which TV driver the application is using as to whether or not it has a PAL mode.
Try the Parallax graphics demo from the object excange and change the TV Mode parameter to select NTSC or PAL
or look here for a modified TV driver that that gives a more stable PAL output.

The issue is mainly some of the ways the drivers operate as well as the frequency generators within the Prop, which leads to most drivers not outputting a 100% in-spec NTSC signal. Many PAL TV's and even some NTSC-based LCD screens have trouble decoding the signal, mainly the color component.
As you've realized, the best option is just to use a PAL video driver. However, not all video drivers here on the forums will support a PAL output mode, and some modifications or a seperate driver is needed.

EDIT: Whoops, looks like Coley and I had the same idea here. Sorry about that.
