Enhancement to SX IDE ??
This request is directed at PJ Monty;
Hello Peter.... I understand you have been working hard on a modified IDE to be compatible with both, the legacy serial SX-Key, as well as the new USB-Key. Kudos on you!
I have a request to enhance the utility of the IDE. Many times I need to write assembly programs that significantly fills the program space. When I assemble those programs, I frequently run into the familiar ....call "not within the lower half of a page" issue. To determine how·far to move·of the offending statement is a trial and error effort, as the LIST command refuses to display the listing until the problem is resolved. This can be very frustrating when there is only a small amount of maneuvering room availible, and attempting to correct one, another is created elsewhere.
Would it be possible to force the listing to be displayed (perhaps with a bold error message) so we could better select the spots to relocate sections of code ??
Please ??
P.S. Might it also be possible for a mouse "right click" to stop a running, or more likely, reset a frozen program and jump directly to to the red breakpoint bar ??
Thanks for your consideration.
Cheers,
Peter (pjv)
