homemade basic stamp proto board
Hi everyone
·
I’m new to basic stamps and to these forums, but I thought I would share my own BS prototyping board I had made. It has a BS2 carrier board, a 5 volt 3 amp PS (I upped it to 6v because I have the BS2e – they were on sale), a 16 LED output display, a small logic probe and two proto boards. I made the LED board myself and also I cut and painted the back board. The I/O pins have their own board and are protected by 16 220 ohm resistors. The back board is some scrap 1/8 inch fiber board and painted with some leftover house paint. I’m trying to show you don’t need to go and buy everything, with a little ingenuity and stuff laying around your house you can make things as good as or better than what can be bought and have the satisfaction of knowing you made it yourself.
