Propeller Penguin?

I love the Penguin, but have moved to the Propeller and really don't want to be developing for two processors right now.· So, I have two questions:

1. Parallax: Any plans for a Propeller-based Penguin?

2. Everybody else:· Has anyone converted a Penguin to use the Propeller?

    Penguin???

    A) The Bird : Umm, doesn't make sense

    B) Linux : The propeller can't run linux

    C) Tools : The propeller doesn't have linux tools

    D) PS3 : I didn't follow this lead, but I suspect that the propeller is a different kind of beast

    E) Robot : Like a variation on a boe-bot??

    F) None of the above.

Wow that thing is built like a brick out house!

It would seem to me you could create a protpboard backpack for it quite easily or a cut down one at least.

To my knowledge we have no plans for creating a Propeller version, though Ken lamented late in the dev cycle that he should have used a Propeller. There were so many issues in the manufacturing process in getting the current version to work, the bar is pretty high for any revision to occur.

Shame the Penguin doesn't use a socketed BS2; then you could have put a Spin Stamp on it.
