Hello I'm new to BOE-BOT
Hi.· I just purchased a BOE-BOT and also the tank tread and crawler kit.
Anyone have a few pointers before I start constructing the BOE-BOT or the tank thread and crawler kits?
I've never programmed a stamp before but I have played with phidgets servo controls and sensors, and I've been working with C# for a couple of years.
Is there a BOE-BOT stamp·resource·online where I can look at code created by other BOE-BOT users to get a feel for what I'll be working with before the shipment arrives?· A place where people have posted neat algorithms for working with a BOE-BOT?
Thanks!

They have several books as part of their Stamps in Class set available for download free in PDF format.
Go here:
http://www.parallax.com/tabid/535/Default.aspx
Then check out Robotics with the BOE-Bot followed by What is a Microcontroller (both cover some of the same
info but the BOE-bot text may be more what you want, but What is a Microcontroller contains a lot of useful
stuff not in the BOE-bot documentation).
After that, you can check out the IR remote book. I recommend reading through the sumo bot book just for
the interesting tidbits not in the previous books... even if it isn't intended for a BOE-bot, its still useful.
After you tackle those, and the remaining books, then get into the Nuts and Volts columns (sort of newsletters
designed for basic stamp users) which are also free PDF downloads.
Finally, this is a great forum. If you have any questions at all feel free to post them here.
