Prop On The Go

Here is a project that is almost completed, All that is needed is a·mini keyboard.
I am posting it here instead of the Completed Projects section because, it is not fully completed without the mini keyboard for traveling.
The case measures 11.5 x 7.5 in.
The case is an intec PS2 accessory case I found at Target in the clearance section for about $10.00
Behind the Mini DVD Cyberhome hacked monitor is a 7.5 DYNA-Sport 1500, 1500 mAh Ni-Cd Battery Pack for running RC cars.
It·powers my wulfDen Propeller motherboard, monitor·and servo's if connected with no problem.

"Now I am truly portable to program on the go !"

Thanks to all the forum members for helping me with all my dumb questions and thanks Parallax, for keeping the thrill of electronics alive !

Very nice! Grab a laptop and you are ready to go!

I see you liberated the Cyberhome screen from it's bottom.
Mind sharing the details on the connection points from the backside of the screen.

Also did you salvage the audio?

    OBC,
My mistake, I am using the battery from the Mini-DVD to power the screen. If you look closely at the pic ,I just drilled a hole and velcroed it to the rear of the flap.
I would like to use the screen and toss the DVD case but I am short on time right now. I will get to that project soon.
I have not tapped into the sound yet but I will soon, It's all ready to go. Lot's of time for refinements.
When I complete the hack, I will post it.
The 2nd pic is of the inside for now, I need to hack that screen, so that I can store my keyboard in the flap.

    Ym2413a,

    "Oh ya""!
Some Cool graphic binaries and low and behold, I fried my USB2SER yesterday.
    Total bummer.
I need to order a new one to get going again.
Luckily I found a PropClip to hold me over until my new one comes.
Has anyone tried to verify the correct operation or diagnostics for the FTDI232R chip?
