Timekeeping Chip With Built-In RF SSW Update Technology
Hello,
·
I want to connect a time-keeping chip to a STAMP and have seen a lot done with the DS1302.
·
Instead, I would like to use a timekeeping chip with built in rf update technology - similar to those that use the short wave reference signal to routinely update themselves automatically.
This technology has been around for some time. Surely, there is a time-keeping chip with it, which could interface to a STAMP. This would eliminate the need for any long-duration battery backup, eliminate issues with time-changes, maintain accuracy, and minimize coding.
·
Anyone know of or used such a time-keeping chip?
·
Thanks.
