I am very, very, very impressed .I would have imagined this company to be 50 times bigger than it is. Very friendly staff and eveyone is very busy doing everything to keep things running at a fast pace. WOW !!

Tell us more Brian. Did you go while you were in town for the Embedded Systems Conference?

    Tim and Whit,
I stopped by there after being at the ESC ( sorry Tim for no hot ESC report ,but I didn't have much time to look around). Everyone I meet at Parallax is very down to earth. What I hate about the internet is the lack of person to person contact, I have ripped the tech guys in the past and It will never happen again. These guys not only answer tech stuff but are working on new products as they help customers. You can tell everyone loves their job and will retire from there.

I had a 30 hour drive home to think about Parallax and the LunarX prize, right now my desk is covered with every book,PDF and nasa document I can find on how to make electronics survive in space. I won't say anymore, but they make you feel like you are part of the family :- )

Bravo Brian. Your words about Parallax are understood. If I get to the region at all, you bet I would stop by Parallax as well.

Now, not to take this thread off topic, but I am curious how does one go about creating such an environment and culture in their company like you described? I am sure there are many approaches on how ceate positive moral and similar, but how do you convey and teach quality and caring? Some of it happens over time by doing the right thing, hiring the right people. Surely it isn't an accident though.
