Connecting wires to open frame power supply pins
Hello,
·
I recently picked up a 5v open frame power supply (http://www.meanwell.com/search/ps-05/ps-05-spec.pdf) for a basic stamp 2 project.· I have found it difficult to locate the connectors (or where I didn’t need to buy a minimum of 266) I need for the 120 AC input and 5 DC output.· Can some suggest a safe method of connecting to these pins w/o using the specified mating housing.
·
Thanks,
·

- Does it have an on-board fuse?· If not, make sure you fuse the Line/"Pin 3".· (I think it should have a separate fuse, regardless.)
- If you're wiring it to a molded-plug, the flared/wide prong is Neutral (AC-N / AC-) and the·other is Line (AC-L / AC+); make sure that you observe that, too.
If you rush it, you'll blow it, OM.
