Help Hooking up Servo Controller

··········· I have Pololu’s Servo Controller, the robot I’m making I’m using a typical RC battery pack that is rated at 7.5 volts. I also have this supply going to a Parallax Homework Board where it is regulated to 5 volts. My question is can I hook the servo supply directly to the 7.5 volt battery and also hook the GND and VIN to this source as well or is there a different method I should use? I have attached the documentation for the controller.
