Can I use the Scribbler Program Maker with the Boe-Bot?

It looks like the Scribbler uses the Basic Stamp2, so I'm guessing it should work but looking for validation.

Thanks.

azmax100: Thanks for the quick relply. So that begs the question on how I verify that? You mean in hardware, right? not in the software?

Sorry I purchase the BoeBot about a year ago for my now 11 year old. We broke it out and assembled it the otherday, and are now getting ready to program. HOWEVER, after reviewing the doc yesteday, I'm thinking the Scribbler GUI might be better for him to get started with and let him work independently a bit more (had the Scribbler been available when I purchased, I would have picked it instead, but I sure don't remember it being out). Thanks in advance.

I don't think that it will work to drive the robot. Scribbler's "Set & Forget" hardware motor drivers lock on with a single pulsout per drive motor. Boe-Bot needs a continuous string of pulsouts to drive its servomotors.

    Hi moakes,

Sorry for giving you wrong info, erco was right. I have mistaken within scribbler GUI with the Boe Bot GUI.

Theres a GUI for Boe Bot. You can get it here http://www.parallax.com/tabid/441/Default.aspx

    Have fun with it.
